The 21-year-old is expected to return to Real Madrid this summer at the end of his loan spell with Real Sociedad.
Manchester United are expected to strengthen their midfield this summer and Martin Odegaard could be the man for the job.
The Red Devils need to sign a new quality midfielder despite the signing of Bruno Fernandes last month. This is due to the imminent exits of Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba.
Serbian international Matic has few months left on his contract at Old Trafford and he would be a free agent this summer.
On his part, Paul Pogba has a year remaining on his Manchester United deal plus the clause of an additional year.
Pogba is fed up with life in Manchester and he’s expected to leave the Red Devils this summer. The French World Cup winner has barely featured for his team this season and that’s due to a persistent ankle issue.
