Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has earned plaudits for the way he has integrated young players into his first team squad this season.
Lampard and his relatively young players started the current Premier League season very well though it must be pointed out that they have not been able to maintain that tempo.
Despite the drop in results in recent weeks, Chelsea have maintained their place in the top four of the Premier League table.
Young Chelsea players like Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Reece James have been impressive in the Blues colours this season.
Nigerian-born England international Tammy Abraham has been a constant source of goals for Chelsea in the Premier League this season. He has 13 goals in the league as the Blues have spent a lot of time in the top four.
In total, Tammy Abraham has scored 15 goals this season.

Fellow England international Mason Mount provided two assists in the last league game at Leicester City.
Reece James has been able to break into the Chelsea team at right-back this term. The young England international spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic in the English Championship.
Lampard has targeted the signings of new young players ahead of this summer as follows:
1. Ben Chilwell
The Leicester City left-back is the first choice for the Three Lions of England and he’s a target for Chelsea manager Frank Lampard who’s a big fan of the player. Lampard wants a new left-back as he has had to use Spanish right-back Cesar Azpilicueta in that position on several occasions this season.
2. Jadon Sancho
The Borussia Dortmund winger is a target for Chelsea and other Premier League clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United. The 19-year-old Three Lions of England attacker has been in top form for his German club over the last two years.
