Coppa Italia holders Lazio are the latest club to be interested in Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud following the news that they have begun negotiations for the transfer of the experienced attacker.
According to Sky Italy, Lazio are in talks to sign Olivier Giroud who has six months to go on his Chelsea contract.
Olivier Giroud had previously been in talks with Inter Milan who are Italian Serie A title contenders just like capital club Lazio.
As a matter of fact, the Frenchman already agreed a deal with Inter Milan only for Chelsea to prove difficult.
Inter Milan have pulled out of the deal to sign him this month though a summer transfer could still be an option since he would be a free agent by then.

He agreed a deal until 2022 with Inter Milan at an annual package of €4m.
The last two years of that agreement would see him take €3.5m per year.
Inter Milan offered a transfer fee of €5m plus add-ons but Chelsea held out for €7m and that ultimately led to the collapse of the deal.
Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the aging striker who wants more first-team football to stay in shape for the European Championships later this year.
