The general belief is that the second Manchester United offer would be accepted by Sporting Lisbon who won their last game in the league on Monday night with Bruno Fernandes in the team.
The Portuguese international star might have played his last game for Sporting Lisbon during that game.
He captained the team which won 1-0 at home to Maritimo courtesy the 76th-minute strike from Cristian Borja who is a Colombian defender.
The win was able to take Sporting Lisbon to third position on the league table.
Bruno Fernandes achieved success with Portugal last year as he featured prominently as the European champions won the maiden UEFA Nations League.
