Three-time European champions Manchester United need to boost their ailing squad with two quality players according to a former Premier League player.

Ex-Tottenham Hotspur and Bolton Wanderers midfielder Jamie O’Hara was in the Sky Sports studios to talk about Manchester United and their transfer strategy for this month.

Manchester United have until Thursday night to improve their playing squad with new and quality players.

Jamie O’Hara advised Manchester United to pursue the move for the duo of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes and Lyon hitman Moussa Dembele.

He revealed that the £115m double signing will undoubtedly improve Manchester United in their preparation for the business end of this season.

Manchester United are in all the four competitions alongside city rivals Manchester City whom they face in the Carabao Cup semifinal second leg next week with hosts Manchester City leading 3-1 from the first leg.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had to endure some high-profile injuries and that has left his squad thin.

Manchester United should push through a deal for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes who could cost around £55m though the Portuguese club wants more than that.

Lyon striker Moussa Dembele is rated at £60m and he’s a big target for the Red Devils.
