Manchester United can’t afford to drop ant point when they entertain bottom club Norwich City at Old Trafford later this weekend as the attention on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to increase after a difficult start to the new year.

The Red Devils are yet to win any game in this year and the Norwich City clash gives them the perfect opportunity to rectify this.

2020 started for Manchester United with a timid defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium as they were beaten 2-0 away from home by the North Londoners.

Manchester United went on to play a goalless draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup third round thus paving the way for a replay at home next week to decide the team that will progress into the fourth round of the competition.

The next game ended in a 3-1 defeat to neighbours Manchester City in the Carabao Cup semifinal first leg earlier this week and that proved to be the worst result of this year as Solskjaer and his players were outclassed.

Harry Maguire is a key defender for Manchester United and he missed that disappointing Manchester City game but the good news is that he could return for the match with Norwich City.

Manchester United XI: David De Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Brandon Williams; Fred, Nemanja Matic, Andreas Pereira; Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Daniel James.
