Manchester United might be edging closer to their fourth signing under current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the first signing in the current January window after it was revealed that they have sought the help of Super Agent Jorge Mendes to agree a transfer fee for top target Bruno Fernandes.

According to the Daily Express via one of its publications, Manchester United are trying to agree a transfer fee with Sporting Lisbon for Bruno Fernandes with the help of the player’s agent Jorge Mendes.

Manchester United have already agreed a deal for his weekly salary according to the same publication.

It was disclosed that the Red Devils have handed him a contract offer that will see him earn £150,000 on a weekly basis at the Theatre of Dreams which is a significant increase on his present wages at Sporting Lisbon.

He will sign a four-and-a-half year contract until 2024 to become the new Manchester United signing.

Sporting Lisbon want £68m for the player, while Manchester United want to pay just £50m for him thus paving the way for Jorge Mendes to do his job as a broker between the two teams.

Bruno Fernandes has eight goals in 15 league games for his club.
