Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes is closing on a move to Premier League giants Manchester United and his stats for the better part of the last two seasons show that the player is the right man to rejuvenate the club’s midfield.
Bruno Fernandes has a more impressive stats over the last two seasons than all the other midfield targets for the Red Devils plus the likes of Manchester City midfielders Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva.
The 25-year-old Portuguese international also has more goals and assists than Barcelona loanee Philippe Coutinho who has been on loan at five-time European champions Bayern Munich for this season.
Manchester United midfield targets Christian Eriksen and James Maddison have lesser goals and assists stats than Bruno Fernandes since the start of the last campaign.

Bruno Fernandes has scored 27 goals and provided 19 assists since the start of last season in the Portuguese top flight.
Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen has scored 10 goals and also added 13 assists since the start of the last campaign, while Leicester City midfielder James Maddison has 12 goals and 10 assists in the Premier League since last season.
Christian Eriksen is also a target for Inter Milan and the Italians are in negotiations with Spurs over a move for him this month.
