james rodriguez On His Way To Old Trafford As Makeshift For Paul Pogba

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane still desires to have his countryman Paul Pogba under his watch at Santiago Bernabeu before he put an end to his second spell with the club.

The French midfield was said to have been courted by the manager during the previous international break as they were reportedly seen together in a one-on-one discussion.

Though it is very unlikely to see United release the Frenchman in January, report has it that Zidane is set to offer a player-plus-cash deal to the Red Devils.

According to Spanish publication El Desmarque, Zidane is willing to offer James Rodriguez as a makeshift for Paul Pogba’s signature.

The Colombian international isn’t rated by the manager as he has been a bit-part player since he returned back to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium from his two-year loan spell at Allianz Arena this summer.

The source revealed that the Zidane is willing to finally release versatile midfielder but he wishes to use him as part of his mission to force United into releasing his longtime transfer target in the next transfer window.

It is believed that United have place a huge £179m price tag on the former Juventus midfielder but Zidane hopes to see the club reduce their demand as he is including James in the deal next summer.
