The representatives of the player were at the Manchester United offices on Friday to negotiate a deal for their client thus paving the way for the two clubs involved to agree a fee for Bruno Fernandes.

Sporting Lisbon want around £64m upfront for their star player and club skipper nut Manchester United are tilting towards a £60m deal that includes add-ons of £10m.

It is expected that the two teams will reach an agreement for the player before this weekend with Manchester United fans hopeful that the Bruno Fernandes deal will be completed before the next league game, which is the big one.
