Sporting Lisbon player Bruno Fernandes has made the decision on his future amidst the transfer reports of a Premier League transfer with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur mentioned as his potential destination.

According to the Daily Mail, Fernandes has told Sporting Lisbon that he wants to sign for Manchester United this month.

Some reports even stated that his transfer to Manchester United could be done by Monday or Tuesday.

Sporting Lisbon president Federico Varandas was spotted in England yesterday to further fuel the transfer rumours that his prized asset will move to the Premier League.

Bruno Fernandes has told his club that he wants to leave despite signing a new deal as late as two months ago to take the release clause at Sporting Lisbon to €100m mark, though a transfer for him would be negotiated for a lower price.

The player scored twice in what could be his last game for Sporting Lisbon as he helped his team to a win over rivals Victoria Setubal.

He scored a brace to lead Sporting Lisbon to a 3-1 win thereby securing fourth spot on the league table.

The former Sampdoria player has scored 47 goals in the last two seasons for Sporting Lisbon.
