Manchester United have reached an agreement with Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes over a move to Old Trafford according to Portuguese news outlet A Bola.
It was revealed that Manchester United will hand Bruno Fernandes a five-year contract worth €4m annually thereby totaling €20m (£17m).
Manchester United are expected to pay €70m for the signing of Bruno Fernandes who is the Sporting Lisbon skipper and has been at the club since joining from Sampdoria two years ago.
Sporting Lisbon president Federico Varandas stoked the reports of a transfer to Manchester United for his prized asset after he was spotted in the United Kingdom.

Bruno Fernandes is expected to be the first signing of this month’s transfer window as the Red Devils try to cover for the loss of two key midfielders to injury.
Manchester United have been without Scotland international Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba since the Newcastle United game last month.
They both played their part in the Boxing Day game at home to the Magpies which ended in an emphatic 4-1 win for Manchester United.
Manchester United will have to wait till next month for the two players to return to full fitness.
They have been interested in Bruno Fernandes before now especially during the transfer market last summer.
