Europa League holders Chelsea have been given the chance to sign French international Thomas Lemar from Atletico Madrid FC of Spain.
The Blues are one of the clubs linked with Thomas Lemar and they have been offered the opportunity to sign the Frenchman on loan according to the report from The Sun.
It was revealed that Atletico Madrid don’t have any issue offloading the former AS Monaco player as he has failed to perform well since signing for the Spanish giants in 2018.

Thomas Lemar has scored just one goal in 23 appearances and 11 of those games have been as a substitute.
Chelsea are Thomas Lemar as a cheaper alternative to Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha who has an asking price of £80m as set by his London club.
West London giants Chelsea believe that Zaha is overpriced at that amount and they are not ready to pay over the odds for the winger despite the fact they have £150m to spend on players.
The Blues have been active in the transfer market as they try to bolster their squad in the winter transfer market since the embargo on transfers as imposed by world football’s governing body FIFA has been lifted.
