Injuries have not been kind to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United this month but the Norwegian tactician was able to receive a big boost on the fitness front after key player Harry Maguire returned to training after a week on the sidelines.

The Manchester United squad is not the biggest after several players left the club last year.

The likes of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez are at Inter Milan at the moment though the latter is there on loan.

Ander Herrera left the club for PSG in France, while Marouane Fellaini was the first to exit Manchester United in 2019.

Injuries have tested the moderate Manchester United squad this season especially in midfield where they are missing the services of key players like Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba.

The return of Harry Maguire to the Manchester United squad will be a welcome boost for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who is under scrutiny again after a poor start to 2020.

Harry Maguire has become a leader at Manchester United and he’s currently the vice-captain to skipper Ashley Young who is not always in the starting XI.

His availability for the Norwich City game was revealed by Solskjaer during his last press conference on Friday.
