Manchester United and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have not had the best of 2020 since it started last week as evident by recent developments on and off the pitch.

Paul Pogba has always been the subject of topic at Manchester United and this year has not been different with many journalists hinting that the Red Devils are now open to the idea of selling him.

For the matters on the pitch, Manchester United have recorded just one draw and two losses from three games.

Arsenal beat Manchester United 2-0 at home in their first game of 2020 on New Year’s Day followed by the goalless draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup third round.

Their third game of the Year was the most painful as they were schooled by city rivals Manchester City in the first half of their Carabao Cup semi-final outing especially as they ran out 3-1 winners at the home of Manchester United.

Harry Maguire missed that Manchester City game because of a foot injury and the record signing for a defender from last summer will most likely miss the fourth game of the year which is the home game with Premier League newcomers Norwich City in the league on Saturday.

Phil Jones came in for him and had a cramp after the game but he’s expected to be fit for the Norwich City game.

Solskjaer gave the update immediately after the Manchester City game.
