It is safe to say that Manchester United defender Phil Jones is not a favourite amongst the Old Trafford faithfuls especially after his last two games for the club including the disappointing Manchester Derby clash with city rivals Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.
Phil Jones was a surprise inclusion in the starting XI during the Premier League game at Sheffield United in November but the England international lasted just 45 minutes after he was part of a three-man defence that conceded one goal to the Premier League newcomers.
He was at fault for that lone first half goal scored by Sheffield United midfielder John Fleck.
Manchester United went on to secure a 3-3 draw at the end of that game.

Phil Jones returned to the starting lineup for the first time after that Sheffield United game during the Carabao Cup semifinal first leg clash with Manchester City at home and his performance was worse than the one he turned in against the Blades.
He was involved in all the three goals conceded by Manchester United in the first half against rivals Manchester City thus putting the defending champions in firm control.
Marcus Rashford pulled one back in the second half to make it 3-1 ahead of the second leg later this month.
Manchester United fans took to their various online accounts to slam Phil Jones for his poor performance and they would be hoping that he stays far from the pitch at Old Trafford and during away games having come in as the replacement for the injured Harry Maguire.
