The publication from Media Referee said that the Gunners would be better served chasing a deal for RB Leipzig center-back Dayot Upamecano who represents a younger option in comparison with Jerome Boateng who has made just nine league appearances for the Bavarian giants this term.
Since signing for Bayern Munich from Manchester City in 2011, Jerome Boateng has made over 300 appearances.
Dayot Upamecano is ten years younger than Jerome Boateng who is of Ghanaian descent.
The French junior international has 18 months left on his present contract at RB Leipzig.
He has both the French and Guinea Bissau passports but the central defender has opted to play for France.
