Arsenal were dealt a fatal injury blow during the festive period with the injury to Calum Chambers who has been one of their best players since the 2019/20 season started but there’s light at the end of the tunnel for the Gunners if they want to sign a replacement for the injury-stricken Chambers who will sit out action for the next six to nine points due to the serious knee injury sustained during the Chelsea game last weekend.
The England international went off injured in the first half of the league game which saw Chelsea come from behind to beat hosts Arsenal 2-1 with the aid of two goals in the final moments of the game.

Arsenal have the opportunity to sign Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng for free according to Football London and his signing can offload the gap left by the serious knee injury copped by Calum Chambers.
Jerome Boateng is 31 and he has few years left at the top level but his injury record could be a turn off for prospective clubs.
Bayern Munich are willing to let the German international leave the club during this 2020 winter transfer window.
Other defensive transfer targets like RB Leipzig centre back Dayot Upamecano and Juventus defender Merih Demirel are on Arsenal radar.
