Arsenal are expected to conduct at least one or two transfers in this winter transfer market especially in defence where manager Mikel Arteta could need help following the serious knee injury sustained by Calum Chambers.
The England international could miss the rest of this season because of the knee injury suffered against Chelsea in the last league game of the year for the Gunners.
Arsenal will have to engage in strengthening their midfield options especially if former club skipper Granit Xhaka leaves the club this month.
The Swiss international midfielder is attracting serious interest from German Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin and recent reports claimed that he could return to Germany though manager Mikel Arteta said the player has told him that he’ll stay at Arsenal.

Xhaka was signed by Arsenal from Borussia Moenchengladbach in the summer of 2016 for a fee believed to be around £35m.
Arsenal are interested in former Paris Saint Germain (PSG) midfielder Adrien Rabiot who now plays for Italian champions Juventus.
The Old Lady are interested in selling Adrien Rabiot rather than the loan proposed by Arsenal according to the report from Football London.
Juventus have demanded a fee between £21m to £25m for the Frenchman who is also attracting the interest of Everton.
Arsenal are also keen on Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara who was formerly on their books for five years between 2012 and 2017.
