New Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is open to signing one or two players during the upcoming winter transfer market which reopens in the coming days.
The former Arsenal midfielder made this known in one of his recent interviews as monitored by popular media portal Metro saying that the Gunners would be looking to make one or two signings if the right players are available.
Mikel Arteta went on to say that his priority is to get the best out of the current crop of players but the Spaniard has not been rewarded with points in his first two games in charge.

The Spaniard has taken charge of two Premier League games against Bournemouth and Chelsea which has yielded just one point.
On transfers, Swiss international Granit Xhaka could leave the club in the January transfer window with German Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin interested in him.
His agent recently confirmed that they have struck an agreement with the German capital club thus paving the way for Arsenal to reach a transfer fee with Hertha Berlin.
It was also revealed that senior Arsenal officials are aware that Granit Xhaka wants to leave the club and Mikel Arteta is expected to sign a replacement for him once his exit has been confirmed.
