Liverpool have been the team to beat in the Premier League this season with the Reds holding a 10-point lead at the top of the Premier League table having played two games less than nearest challengers Leicester City.
Despite the big lead on the Premier League table, Liverpool are looking to strengthen their team in the January transfer window which reopens in the next two days.
Liverpool have already announced one signing in Japanese international Takumi Minamino who joined the Reds from Austrian Bundesliga champions Red Bull Salzburg after his release clause of £7.25m was activated.
Takumi Minamino will join Liverpool officially on the 1st of January.

Liverpool are still looking to sign other players like Sander Berge, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Mathieu Goncalves and Ben White.
Genk midfielder Sander Berge impressed against Liverpool in the Premier League and the Norwegian international is the target for the Reds though clubs like West Ham, Napoli and Chelsea are also interested.
For Timo Werner, he has been in redhot form for RB Leipzig this season after netting 18 league goals for the German Bundesliga leaders.
Young Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz is a target for Liverpool and he has an asking price of £111m as slammed on him by his club.
French and Toulouse youngster Mathieu Goncalves has emerged as a left-back target for Liverpool, while center-back Ben White is also on the radar of the Reds having impressed on loan at English Championship club Leeds United this season.
Ben White is on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.
