Arsenal legend Lauren has told club officials that they would be making a big mistake if they cash in on star player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the upcoming January transfer window.
The former Arsenal winger turned right-back said that the Gunners must hold on to the services of Aubameyang beyond next month.
He made the plea in a chat with 888 Sport as the ex-Cameroonian international player pointed out the importance of the Gabonese international star to the Arsenal cause.
Lauren was part of the Arsenal invincible that went through the entire season without suffering a single defeat.

Arsenal record signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is keen to leave the club according to previous reports and Gunners Faithfuls would be hoping that his stance would change with the appointment of Mikel Arteta as the new manager.
Mikel Arteta was confirmed as the new Arsenal manager in the last few days and the Spaniard has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Gunners whom he represented as a player for five years from 2011 to 2016.
His Arsenal contract will end in the summer of 2023.
Aubameyang has been linked with clubs like Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
He is the leading goalscorer at Arsenal with 13 goals in all competitions.
