Recent reports had claimed that Chelsea are ready to meet the £80m asking price from Crystal Palace for Zaha as they plan to sign a replacement for Eden Hazard in the January transfer window.
Eden Hazard left the club for Real Madrid in the summer but the Blues were not able to replace him as at that time and that was due to the transfer ban imposed on them by FIFA and has since been lifted upon their appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
Wilfried Zaha was formerly a Manchester United player having joined them from Crystal Palace in 2013.
The Ivorian international returned to Selhurst Park on loan after an unsuccessful spell at Old Trafford before making his move permanent in 2015.
