Struggling Italian Serie A giants Napoli have made a bid for Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window as per the various reports emanating from the media in Italy.
Napoli want to sign Uruguayan international Lucas Torreira in January and the Champions League campaigners have already made the first move towards achieving their target.
The specific report from popular Italian transfer news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that Napoli are plotting a loan move for Lucas Torreira with the hope of making the loan transfer a permanent one when the loan spell reaches its end.

It was revealed that Napoli have made an opening loan offer of €3m with the option of making it a permanent transfer for a further €27m.
The loan offer for Lucas Torreira is for a period of 18 months.
Lucas Torreira is in his second season at Arsenal following his transfer last summer.
The Gunners signed the Uruguayan international for £26m from Italian Serie A side Sampdoria and he has been linked with a return to Italy dating back to this summer after just one season.
He started his Arsenal career well but it seems like the Uruguayan international player has lost his way a little bit.
