Merseyside giants Liverpool are reportedly in pole position to sign highly-rated Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho according to journalist Simon Hughes who works for The Athletic.
It was revealed that the Premier League leaders are ahead of rivals Chelsea and Manchester United in the quest to sign Jadon Sancho who’s keen to return to English football.
The England international left the Premier League in 2017.
Jadon Sancho signed for Borussia Dortmund two years ago for a fee of around £8m from Premier League champions Manchester City.
He had some problems at Borussia Dortmund earlier this season but that seems to be a thing of the past after the young English winger scored three goals in the last two games in all competitions.

Earlier in the season, Jadon Sancho was fined and banned from one league game by his club after returning late from the October international duty.
He was subsequently substituted in the first half of the German Bundesliga mauling received at the hands of rivals and holders Bayern Munich.
Borussia Dortmund were beaten 4-0 during that game.
Jadon Sancho is in his third season at Borussia Dortmund and has weighed in with 10 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.
He scored 12 goals and provided 17 assists in the last campaign.
