Arsenal officials will reportedly meet with Carlo Ancelotti to discuss the vacant managerial job at the Emirates Stadium.

According to journalist IndyKaila, Carlo Ancelotti is scheduled to meet with Arsenal officials and Everton officials.

The two Premier League teams are in the running for Carlo Ancelotti who became jobless on Tuesday night after his dismissal by Napoli shortly after leading the Italian Serie A club to the Champions League last 16.

Carlo Ancelotti led Napoli to a 4-0 win at home to Belgian top-flight side Genk in their last game in Group E thereby securing a spot in the knockout stage as a result of the convincing win.

He was appointed as the Napoli manager last summer and the Italian tactician led the club to second place last season in the league.

Napoli were on a run of nine matches without a win under his watch before the Genk game and that led to his sack earlier this week.

Carlo Ancelotti leaves Napoli in seventh position on the Italian Serie A table.

He was at Napoli for 18 months following his appointment at the start of last season and the Italian is immediately in the frame for the managerial position at two clubs.
