Three-time European champions Manchester United have been handed a major boost on the transfer front following the news that they can sign one of their top targets for a cut-price fee.
This is according to the publication from Italian news outlet II Martino which revealed that top defensive target Kalidou Koulibaly could leave Serie A giants Napoli for just £69m.
Kalidou Koulibaly is a long-term transfer target of Manchester United as the Red Devils have pursued a move for the Senegalese international for the better part of the last year.

Napoli turned down a world-record bid for a defender of around £91m from Manchester United before the former Premier League champions settled for Harry Maguire.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United would still be interested in another center-back with other areas of the team crying out for similar investments made like the Maguire deal.
Harry Maguire joined Manchester United from fellow English top-flight club Leicester City in the summer in a deal reported to be around £80m.
It was a world-record deal for a defender as the transfer surpassed the previous record held by Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk who signed for the Reds for £75m in January 2018.
