Manager Search: How Arsenal Were Dealt Huge Blow

North London giants Arsenal have been dealt a huge blow in their quest to appoint a new manager following the news that top target Mikel Arteta won’t be available until the end of the season at least.
Arsenal were informed that Mikel Arteta won’t be available till the end of the season by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
The Manchester City boss made this known in his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the Manchester Derby clash with Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.
According to him, Mikel Arteta is not going anywhere till the end of the season.

Mikel Arteta is a former Arsenal skipper and the Spaniard has been linked with a return to the Emirates Stadium in a managerial capacity.
He came close to bagging the Arsenal job last summer before senior club officials decided to give the position to Unai Emery but things didn’t work out for the former Valencia, Almeria and Sevilla manager.
Arsenal sacked Unai Emery last week Friday and the search for a new manager is on though club legend Freddie Ljungberg has been placed in charge of the team for now.
He has managed the team in the last two games.
