Chelsea Target Five Players After Big Transfer News

West London giants Chelsea are reportedly targeting five new players ahead of the January transfer window after their ban was lifted on Friday.
Chelsea were given a big boost following the news that they can now sign players as from the January transfer window.
The Blues didn’t sign players in the summer after world football’s governing body FIFA slammed them with a two-window transfer ban for breaking the rules relating to the signing of young players.
Chelsea appealed the ruling but it was thrown out by FIFA and that prompted the club to take the matter to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

The CAS verdict held on Friday partially upheld the ruling from FIFA but the transfer ban was reduced to just one window which has already been served.
According to the Daily Mail, the Blues are now targeting five players in the transfer window including Brentford star Said Benhrama who plays for the Algerian national team.
Others on the list include Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha and former Blues defender Nathan Ake.
Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is a top performer for his German club and he’s on the radar of Chelsea alongside Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell.
