Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu won’t leave the club when the transfer market reopens according to his agent Mustafa Dogru.

In a chat with Turkish radio station Radyospor, Mustafa Dogru said that the player’s future lies at the King Power Stadium amidst the transfer rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal and Manchester City.

Caglar Soyuncu has been a revelation in the Leicester City team this season as the Foxes continue to surprise a lot of football fans with their results in the league.

Leicester City start the weekend in second place on the Premier League table as the biggest threat to league leaders Liverpool who have eight points more.

Caglar Soyuncu joined Leicester City from German club Freiburg in the summer of 2018 for a fee believed to be £19m.

The Turkish international had to wait for his chance in the first team till this season when Harry Maguire left the club for Manchester United in a world-record deal for a defender (£80m).

The 23-year-old was the replacement for Harry Maguire in the Leicester City lineup and he has formed a solid partnership with Jonny Evans at the heart of the Leicester City defense.

Soyuncu is attracting interest from Arsenal and Manchester City.
