Senior Arsenal figures will reportedly meet to discuss the future of manager Unai Emery according to the latest reports emanating from the British media.

This is coming after Unai Emery suffered a big setback in his quest to hold on to his job as the Arsenal manager following the uninspiring performance against Eintracht Frankfurt FC of Germany.

Unai Emery is in serious trouble as far as his managerial job at Arsenal is concerned after the Spaniard masterminded a 2-1 defeat for the Gunners against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Arsenal reached the final of the competition last season before they were beaten by London rivals Chelsea 4-1 in their meeting in Baku and the Gunners were hoping to do better under Unai Emery who led them to that final but that target is in serious danger of not being realised with team yet to book a place in the knockout stage.

Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Diachi Kamada scored twice at the start of the second half to win the game 2-1 at the expense of the North Londoners.

Arsenal will have to avoid a defeat of four unreplied goals and upwards in the last Group game against hosts Standard Liege of Belgium to book their place in the knockout stage of the competition.
