Three-time European champions Manchester United have been handed a big boost on the transfer front in their pursuit of highly rated Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland.
Recent reports had claimed that German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig are in pole position to sign the player ahead of other interested clubs like Manchester United.
It was disclosed that RB Leipzig can sign Norwegian international Erling Haaland for just £25.7m as opposed to other interested clubs who might need to spend as much as £85m on the 19-year-old striker.
RB Leipzig and Manchester United are not the only teams keen on a move for the impressive Erling Haaland.

Apart from RB Leipzig and Manchester United, major European clubs like Italian Serie A giants Napoli, Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona and Real Madrid are also monitoring his development at Red Bull Salzburg whom he joined during the January transfer window.
Erling Haaland has scored 27 goals in all competitions already this season including eight goals in the Champions League.
The young Norwegian striker is the second topscorer in the Champions League this season behind Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski who has ten goals.
