Premier League club Manchester United will have to pay at least £85m to sign top target Erling Haaland who plays his club football for Austrian Bundesliga champions Red Bull Salzburg.
This is according to the publication from ESPN which revealed that Manchester United want to sign him during the January transfer window.
The initial plan was a summer swoop for the 19-year-old striker but the Red Devils want to facilitate the move in the next transfer window in January.
Manchester United want to speed up the transfer to beat the other teams interested in Erling Haaland.
Norwegian international Erling Haaland has also been linked with clubs like Napoli, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal.

He is one of the hottest strikers in Europe at the moment after his sensational start to this season in the colours of his Austrian outfit.
Erling Haaland worked with Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer while he was at Molde.
The player left the Norwegian top flight club for Red Bull Salzburg during the January transfer window earlier this year.
He has scored 26 goals in just 18 games in all competitions for Red Bull Salzburg this season and that form has gone unnoticed amongst the big European sides.
