Unai Emery is expected to be in the dugout for the game between Arsenal and Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday evening but it could be his last game in charge of the Gunners.
The Spaniard has led Arsenal to an unwanted run of six games in all competitions without a win including a five-match winless run of five Premier League matches.
The run was extended to five games at the weekend during the 2-2 draw at home to second bottom club Southampton.
Arsenal avoided defeat with a 96th-minute equalizer from French international Alexandre Lacazette who scored a brace during that game.
The Gunners are eight points adrift of the top four spots as a result of the winless run.
