Jamie Carragher

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has named his Premier League Team of the last decade.

The Liverpool legend named his Team of the Decade while he was on popular British media channel Sky Sports.

Only one Manchester United player made the list and that was first-choice goalkeeper David De Gea.

The Spanish international shot-stopper was joined in defence by Manchester City legends Pablo Zabaleta and Vincent Kompany.

Vincent Kompany was the Manchester City skipper until this summer when he left for Anderlecht FC of Belgium on a free transfer after his contract finished at the Etihad Stadium, while Pablo Zabaleta is now on the payroll of fellow English top flight club West Ham United.

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta and Liverpool center-back Virgil Van Dijk complete the defence.

Manchester City legend Yaya Toure has retired from football but he made the list alongside former teammate David Silva who’s the current Manchester City captain.

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante completes the midfield lineup.

The forward line has Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero as well as the Real Madrid duo of Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard in it.

Bale and Hazard made their mark on the Premier League in the colours of Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea respectively.
