Arsenal manager Unai Emery is under pressure more than ever at the club after the disappointing draw at home to Southampton in their league clash at the weekend.
According to The Times, senior Arsenal officials have started to consider changing the manager after the recent poor run compounded by the fortunate draw with Southampton at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
Arsenal had earlier backed Unai Emery during the international break via an official statement but that position has changed especially after the 2-2 draw at home to South Coast club Southampton.

Unai Emery and his Arsenal wards had to come from behind on two occasions to salvage a point including a 96th minute leveller from French international Alexandre Lacazette.
The Times claimed that Arsenal officials have Mikel Arteta and Maximiliano Allegri as their two-man shortlist of replacement for Unai Emery If the Arsenal officials decide to pull the plug on him.
Mikel Arteta is a former Arsenal midfielder and he was at the club until 2016 when he left the Gunners to join the Manchester City coaching crew.
He was a strong contender to replace Arsene Wenger as the Arsenal manager before compatriot Unai Emery was appointed into the position last summer.
