The Arsenal board is said to be in disharmony in the aftermath of the fortunate draw with Southampton in the league at the weekend.

Arsenal were lucky to get away with a 2-2 draw after they came back twice against visitors Southampton.

According to The Sun, the Arsenal board members are in disharmony over the decision to sack manager Unai Emery in the middle of the season.

They are divided over the idea of sacking the Spanish tactician who has led the Gunners to a run of six games without a win in all competitions on the back of the result earned against the Saints in the last match.

Unai Emery has the backing of chief executive Raul Sanllehi till now.

It was revealed that club chairman Sir Chips Keswick is contemplating the idea of resignation from his position with the man keen to get rid of Unai Emery who has shown that he’s not the right man for the Arsenal job.

A lot of the Arsenal board members gave up on Unai Emery as the man to lead the club to the promised land after the Sheffield United game which ended in a 1-0 defeat away from home last month.
