Manchester United face a big hurdle to sign Leeds United defender Ben White in the form of arch rivals Liverpool with the two clubs interested in signing the player.
According to The Athletic, the two clubs will go head-to-head for the right to sign the Brighton loanee.
Ben White is on loan at Leeds United from Brighton and Hove Albion and he has been one of the best players for the former Champions League semifinalists.
The 22-year-old centre back has made 16 league appearances for Leeds United in the English Championship this season as the Elland Road outfit plot a return to the Premier League next season.

Leeds United came close to gaining promotion to the Premier League last season before they were stopped by Derby County in the semifinal of the playoffs.
Ben White has made 18 appearances for Leeds United in all competitions this term with the other two games coming in the Carabao Cup.
Manchester United appears to be the more likely of the two teams to sign him if he wants to leave Brighton and Hove Albion permanently.
Liverpool have a lot of quality centre backs like Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren and Joe Gomez.
At Manchester United, summer signing Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are the only quality centre backs at the club.
