Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly close to the signing of experienced Italian Serie A defender Kostas Manolas.
The Greek international has been one of the best centre backs on the Italian Serie A scene for the past few years.
Kostas Manolas plays for Italian capital club AS Roma at the moment.
According to the report from The Sun, Kostas Manolas could swap AS Roma for Manchester United in a cut-price deal worth £30.5m.
The Red Devils want to boost their defence with the addition of the 27-year-old.
Kostas Manolas has been a regular fixture in the AS Roma side since joining the Italian capital club from Greek Super League outfit Olympiacos in 2014.
He has been attracting the interests of former European Champions Manchester United who were interested in paying the £32.5 release clause in his AS Roma contract.
