Real Madrid Set To Reward Karim Benzema With New Contract

Immediate past European champions Real Madrid have concluded plans to offer star striker Karim Benzema a new contract that will secure his long-term future at the Estadio Santiago Bernebeu.
According to popular Spanish newspaper Marca, Real Madrid want to extend his contract by two years until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Karim Benzema has 18 months left on his current Real Madrid contract which will expire in 2021.
The French striker has stepped up for Real Madrid since former talisman Cristiano Ronaldo left the club to join Italian Serie A champions Juventus last summer in a club-record deal for sales.

Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus for an initial fee of €100m which was a club-record for player transfer for the Italians.
