According to media outlet 90min, Manchester City have lost patience with French World Cup winner Benjamin Mendy and they are targeting Ben Chilwell as his replacement.
Benjamin Mendy has struggled for fitness for the majority of his time at Manchester City since his move from French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco.
The French left-back joined Manchester City from AS Monaco in a £50m deal in the summer of 2017.
Benjamin Mendy has been injured for a better part of his Manchester City career.

Ben Chilwell has been a key player for Leicester City this season as the Foxes continue to punch above their weight in the Premier League.
Leicester City are second on the Premier League table after 12 games.
The Foxes have 25 points and they are eight points off league leaders Liverpool.
Chelsea are also keen on Ben Chilwell as manager Frank Lampard is on the search for a long-term signing at left-back and the England international fits the bill.
