Arsenal, Man Utd Receive Huge Transfer Blow In Pursuit Of EPL Players

Arsenal and Manchester United have been handed respective transfer blows in their pursuit of Leicester City players after Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers revealed that none of his players will leave the club when the winter transfer window reopens in January.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers talked about his players and transfers during his pre-match press conference on Friday before the league trip to Brighton and Hove Albion.

The ex-Liverpool and Swansea City boss said that the least expectation is to maintain the same squad at the club when the January transfer window shuts.

Brendan Rodgers talked about adding new players to his squad but he’s contented with the team.

He dismissed the various transfer rumors linking some of his players with other Premier League teams by saying that they are not for sale.

Leicester City players like Jonny Evans, James Maddison, Ricardo Pereira and Caglar Soyuncu have been linked with bigger Premier League teams.

Arsenal and Manchester City have an interest in Turkish international Caglar Soyuncu.

Manchester City are the Premier League champions but they face a big battle to retain their title mainly due to defensive issues.

The Citizens have been linked with Leicester City defenders Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu.

James Maddison and Ricardo Pereira are transfer targets for Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
