It was earlier claimed that Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic will be on his way to Old Trafford after reaching an agreement with the Red Devils last month.
The reports have turned out to be one of the unavoidable transfer rumors because the latest speculation suggests that Juventus are set to demand for Manchester United’s youngster Tahith Chong before releasing the veteran striker.
Italian media publication Corriere dello Sport revealed on Wednesday that the Old Lady will only sanction Mandzukic’s move to the Theatre of Dreams if the Premier League side are willing to include the young Dutchman in their offer for the Croatian striker.

Tahith Chong is in the final year of his contract with Solskjaer’s side and he is reportedly willing to depart the team due to lack of regular first-team actions this season.
Though United are doing everything possible to make him stay having offered him a new contract extension, but the player seemed to have made up his mind as he turned down the new deal.
It is, however, unlikely to see United agree to Juventus’ demand as they would love to cash-in on Chong’s signature in January rather than offer him as a makeshift for a player who is seen as a short-term project by Solskjaer and his fans.
