Manchester United have concluded plans to trigger an extension for star player
Manchester United have concluded plans to trigger an extension in the contract of defender Eric Bailly according to the specific report from The Sun.
It was revealed that the Ivorian international centre back will be given a contract extension despite the fact that he is yet to feature for Manchester United this season.
Eric Bailly is still highly rated by the Manchester United hierarchy.
His last appearance for Manchester United came in the Premier League in April as he missed the final matches of last season because of medial ligaments in his right knee.
He returned to full fitness during the off-season before suffering another knee injury during the friendly with Tottenham Hotspur.

Eric Bailly was ruled out of action for four to five months and he’s expected back by next month.
His contract at Manchester United will end next summer but the club want to trigger the one-year extension until the summer of 2021.
Bailly has played just 50 league games for the Red Devils since his transfer from Spanish La Liga side Villarreal in 2016 due to injury problems and inconsistent form.
Manchester United paid £30m for his transfer from Villarreal and he went on to sign a four-year contract with an option of an extra year.
