Manchester United said to be keeping close tabs on Leicester City defender Calgar Soyunku who joined the Foxes during the summer.
It was reported prior to the start of season that the King Power outfit bought the 23-year-old from Freigburg to replace Harry Maguire who moved to Solskjaer’s side.
The Turkish international wasted no time before winning a permanent spot in Rodgers first eleven, thanks to his consistent performance at the heart of the defence.
His impressive display so far didn’t just make him a regular stater in Brendan Rodgers’ team, he has equally attracted the attention of United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Pep Guardiola.
