Former Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi has talked about his move to Turkish Super League outfit Trabzonspor.
John Mikel Obi has been unveiled as the new Trabzonspor signing.
The veteran Nigerian midfielder left English Championship club Middlesbrough this summer at the end of his short-term contract with the Riverside club.
Middlesbrough had earlier signed the experienced player on a six-month loan deal during the winter transfer window in January.
John Mikel Obi was a free agent before joining Boro during the 2019 winter transfer window and the former Blues player became a free agent again this summer following the expiration of his contract at the Riverside Stadium.
He has signed for Trabzonspor on a free transfer.

The ex-Super Eagles midfielder will earn €3m on a yearly basis during his stay with the Turkish top flight club.
John Mikel Obi recently retired from international duty with the Super Eagles of Nigeria shortly after the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt.
He skippered his country to third position at the tournament which was won by the Desert Foxes of Algeria via a 1-0 over Senegal.
