Transfers: Preferred Destination For Top Man United Target Revealed

Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland is one of the most sought after players in Europe after his sensational form this season and Premier League side Manchester United are one of the clubs on his trail.

Manchester United have a serious interest in the Norwegian international star but they could miss out on him as per the publication from the Daily Mirror.

It was revealed that Manchester United is not the preferred destination for Erling Haaland despite the presence of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

According to the aforementioned report, his preferred destination is Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was the Molde manager before taking up the managerial job at Old Trafford in December 2018 and Erling Haaland was one of his players at the Norwegian club.

Erling Haaland left Molde the month after Solskajer left the club for Manchester United having been named as the man to replace Jose Mourinho at the Theatre of Dreams albeit in a temporary capacity.

He was made the permanent manager at Old Trafford in March 2019.

Erling Haaland is one of the eight players on the transfer shortlist of Manchester United ahead of the resumption of the winter transfer window in January.
