Man United Begin Talks With Midfielder Ahead Of January Transfer
If reports from the Daily Star this morning reveals that, then, Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic could be the Red Devils first signing in January.
The British media claimed that the player’s agent is currently in talks with the club’s representative over his client’s proposed move to Old Trafford when the transfer window reopens.
The Croatian is no longer rated at Camp Nou following the arrival of younger players, including Frenkie De Jong, in the previous summer transfer window and coach Ernesto Valverde is ready to cash-in on his services.
Rakitic, 31, is obviously edging towards the end of his career and Barcelona won’t place a huge price tag on his services.
