PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn could end up joining Manchester United in the nearest future if reports from the Mirror is something to trust.
The British media said that the Dutchman wants to have a taste of Champions League football next season, hence, he could be ending his stay at the Eredivisie side at the end of the current campaign.
Though the player wasn’t quoted word for word by the British media, it is believed that the player will consider the Red Devils offer should they manage to qualify for next year’s Champions League competition.
Irrespective of the player’s availability, Solskjaer’s side could still miss out on the Dutchman as it is very unlikely they would end the season being among the League’s top-four clubs.

They currently occupy the seventh position with 16 points, 9 points behind Manchester City who are in the fourth and the last Champion’s League qualifying spot.
Meanwhile, Norwich City are also linked with a move for Bergwijn’s signature as the Yellow Canaries look to upgrading their team in the second half of the campaign.
Unfortunately, the Carrow Road outfits should be prepared to miss out in the race for the winger’s services as they are guaranteed to finish far behind the top four, judging by their current form.
They occupy the last (20th) position with just seven points and they need to up their game if they must retain their Premier League status next season.
