Erling Haaland

Italian Serie A giants Napoli are reportedly planning a big money move for Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland.

This is according to the report from CalcioMercato which revealed that Napoli are ready to spend as much as £34m for Erling Haaland.

Napoli are not the only club interested in the young Norwegian international striker.

Erling Haaland has scored 26 goals in all competitions in the colors of Red Bull Salzburg this season including seven goals in the Champions League this term.

The Norwegian striker is the leading goalscorer in the Champions League ahead of Robert Lewandowski of German champions Bayern Munich (6 goals) and Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling (5 goals).

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer worked with Erling Haaland at Norwegian club Molde and the two could link up once again if the Red Devils manage to pull off a deal for him ahead of other interested clubs like Napoli.

Erling Haaland joined Austrian Bundesliga giants Red Bull Salzburg from Molde in January and he has been an excellent signing for the Austrians.

Apart from Napoli and Premier League giants Manchester United, the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Italian Serie A champions Juventus are all keen on signing Haaland.
